Assemble Your Local Event Team

Ready to host an epic event? First, rally a team of local NEXANs to help bring it to life—each Event Expert role plays a key part in making it a success. Your local crew will handle the on-the-ground action while the Events Director backs you up with strategy and support every step of the way!

Secure Local Co-Hosts and Partners


Secure at least one co-hosting partner—whether that’s a realtor, title agent, insurance rep, or another industry pro. Co-hosts not only help boost attendance and share the planning load, but they also expand your local reach. Bonus: if they have a local brick and mortar office, they might even be able to host the event on-site!

Identify  a Theme and Event Focus


Choose an engaging event theme and define the event focus—what value will this event bring to attendees? This info is required in the request form and shapes content, speakers, and marketing. A strong focus  helps attract the right audience, makes promotion easier and delivers a memorable experience.

Create a Preliminary Budget


Use the NEXA Event Budget Template to estimate costs for your venue, catering, and giveaways. Getting these numbers in place early helps you reverse-engineer your sponsorship strategy—determining how many sponsors you'll need to meet minimum funding and build compelling sponsorship packages.

Start Local Sponsor Outreach

Before requesting help hosting an event, identify 3–5 potential local sponsors that align with your event focus—think title companies, tech wizards, insurance agents, CPAs, and more. Reach out and secure soft commitments so that once your event gets the green light, you're already positioned to move forward with confidence.

Fill Out  and Submit the Host Request Form
